A poster seeking help for a nonprofit thrift store called Purchase for Purpose, which is looking for a space between 2000 to 5000 square feet that is retail-ready, accessible by public transportation, located in an underserved community, available for a reduced-rate non-profit lease, and open to a mission-aligned partnership. The poster features an illustration of the thrift store storefront with signs saying 'Shop Give Impact Lives,' 'Shop Donate Empower,' and 'Donation Drop Off In Back.'

Be APART OF THE CHANGE

"We're not looking for a building. We're looking for a place where hope can take root. A place where donated items become counseling sessions, community support, and a path forward for those who need it most." - THE FOUNDERS

HAVE TIME?

To Our Future Volunteers, Purchase For Purpose was born from a simple belief: no one should be denied hope because they cannot afford help. While our doors are not yet open, our mission is already taking shape through people who believe that mental health care should be more accessible, more affordable, and more available to those who need it most. One day, this mission will require helping hands of every kind. Some will volunteer their time in our stores. Some will mentor, advocate, organize drives, or raise awareness. Others will lend professional skills, share our story, or help build the foundation that makes everything possible. Every role matters. Beyond funding mental health services, our vision extends to the next generation of caregivers. As Purchase For Purpose grows, we aim to establish scholarship and grant opportunities for students pursuing careers in psychology, counseling, social work, and other mental health professions. These grants will be more than financial assistance—they will be an investment in future healers. Recipients will have the opportunity to receive educational support in exchange for a commitment to serve through the Purchase For Purpose Foundation, helping ensure that the communities who need care most continue to have access to compassionate, qualified professionals. Together, we can create a cycle of impact: Donations become opportunity. Opportunity becomes education. Education becomes care. Care becomes hope. And hope changes lives. Though we are still building, we invite you to join us from the very beginning. Whether you choose to volunteer, donate, advocate, partner, or simply share our mission with others, you become part of something bigger than a single store. You become part of a future where more people receive the support they deserve, where future mental health professionals are empowered to serve, and where every purchase helps build a stronger, healthier community. The doors may not be open yet. But the mission has already begun. And we would be honored to build it with you.
